1. Overview

At Drozelonyrdhimae, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every piece of furniture we create. Because our furniture is custom-made to your individual specifications, our return policy differs from standard retail return policies. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction, and this policy outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds may be considered.

Please read this Return Policy carefully before placing an order or entering into a project agreement with us. By proceeding with a custom furniture order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Custom-Made Furniture

All furniture produced by Drozelonyrdhimae is designed and built to your specific requirements, including custom dimensions, selected materials, chosen finishes, and hardware specifications. Due to the bespoke nature of our products, the following conditions apply:

  • Custom-made furniture that has been built according to approved specifications cannot be returned for a refund or exchanged for a different product.
  • Once a design has been approved and production has begun, cancellation may not be possible, and any deposits paid may be non-refundable depending on the stage of production.
  • Minor variations in wood grain patterns, color, and natural markings are inherent characteristics of solid wood and are not considered defects or grounds for return.
  • Slight dimensional variations of up to 3mm from specified measurements are within acceptable manufacturing tolerances and are not grounds for return.

3. Grounds for Return or Replacement

While custom-made furniture is generally non-returnable, we stand firmly behind the quality of our work. You may be eligible for a repair, replacement, or refund in the following circumstances:

3.1 Manufacturing Defects

If your furniture arrives with a verified manufacturing defect — such as structural failure, improper joinery, warping that exceeds acceptable tolerances, or finish flaws not resulting from natural wood characteristics — we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the affected piece at no additional cost to you.

3.2 Significant Deviation from Approved Design

If the delivered furniture materially differs from the approved 3D design and technical specifications — for example, incorrect dimensions beyond acceptable tolerances, wrong material used, or incorrect hardware installed — you are entitled to request a correction, replacement, or refund.

3.3 Damage During Delivery

If your furniture is damaged during delivery or installation by our team, we will repair or replace the damaged sections at our expense. Please inspect your furniture thoroughly upon delivery and report any damage to our team immediately. Damage must be documented and reported within 48 hours of delivery to qualify for repair or replacement under this provision.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items and circumstances are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

  • Furniture that has been custom-made according to your approved specifications and is free of manufacturing defects
  • Furniture that has been altered, modified, or damaged by the customer after delivery and installation
  • Furniture showing normal wear and tear, environmental effects (such as sun exposure or humidity changes), or damage from improper care
  • Design elements, material choices, or color selections that were approved by you during the design phase
  • Furniture that has been in use for more than 30 days after installation, unless a manufacturing defect is discovered
  • Changes of mind regarding style, color, size, or design after the piece has been produced

5. Return Process

If you believe your furniture qualifies for a return, repair, or replacement under this policy, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our team within 48 hours of delivery (for delivery damage) or within 30 days of installation (for manufacturing defects). Provide your order details and a clear description of the issue.
  2. Documentation: Include photographs clearly showing the defect, damage, or deviation from the approved design. Multiple angles and close-up shots are helpful for assessment.
  3. Assessment: Our quality assurance team will review your claim within 5 business days. In some cases, we may need to schedule an in-person inspection of the furniture to evaluate the issue accurately.
  4. Resolution: Based on our assessment, we will offer an appropriate resolution, which may include on-site repair, component replacement, full piece replacement, or a partial or full refund.
  5. Repair or Replacement Timeline: If repair or replacement is warranted, we will provide an estimated timeline for completion. Repairs are typically completed within 2 to 4 weeks, while full replacements may require a longer production period.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 Eligibility

Refunds are issued only when a repair or replacement is not feasible or when the furniture significantly deviates from the agreed-upon specifications due to our error. Refunds are not available for changes of mind, subjective dissatisfaction with approved designs, or issues arising from the natural properties of solid wood.

6.2 Refund Methods

Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. If the original payment method is unavailable, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method. Refund processing times are as follows:

  • Credit/Debit Card: 5 to 10 business days
  • Bank Transfer: 7 to 14 business days
  • Check: 10 to 21 business days

6.3 Partial Refunds

In certain situations, partial refunds may be offered when the issue affects only a portion of the furniture piece or when the customer chooses to keep the furniture with the defect addressed through other means (such as a pricing adjustment). The amount of a partial refund will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

7. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your custom furniture order under the following conditions:

  • Before Production Begins: If you cancel before production has started, a full refund of any deposits will be issued, minus a design and consultation fee of up to 15% of the total project cost.
  • During Production: If you cancel after production has begun, refund eligibility will depend on the stage of production. Materials that have already been cut, shaped, or assembled to your specifications may not be recoverable, and costs incurred up to the point of cancellation will be deducted from any refund.
  • After Completion: Once your furniture has been completed and is ready for delivery, cancellation is not permitted and the full balance is due.

8. Warranty Information

All custom furniture produced by Drozelonyrdhimae comes with a structural warranty covering the integrity of the frame, joinery, and construction. Please note the following warranty terms:

  • The structural warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
  • The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
  • The warranty does not cover natural changes in the wood over time, such as minor color shifts due to light exposure or small seasonal movements due to humidity changes.
  • Hardware components (hinges, slides, handles) are warranted for the period specified by the hardware manufacturer.
  • To make a warranty claim, please contact us with your order details and a description of the issue.

9. Care and Maintenance

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your custom furniture, we recommend the following care guidelines:

  • Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough materials.
  • Protect surfaces from prolonged direct sunlight to minimize color fading over time.
  • Use coasters, placemats, and trivets to protect surfaces from heat, moisture, and scratches.
  • Maintain consistent indoor humidity levels (ideally between 40% and 60%) to prevent excessive wood movement.
  • Clean spills promptly with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
  • Avoid placing furniture near heat sources such as radiators, fireplaces, or heating vents.

Failure to follow these care guidelines may void certain aspects of your warranty and may affect return eligibility.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Return Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The Return Policy in effect at the time of your order or project agreement will govern the terms of your purchase.
